The Geri-Fit® program is a strength training set of activities for older adults. Registration is REQUIRED for the program, contact the Chattooga Library to ask when the next class begins.
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10AM, weekly attendance is necessary to hold your spot in the class.
The Geri-Fit® program requires a set of light dumbbell weights, a sturdy chair, a stretch band, and water to drink during the workout. There’s no dancing, choreography or floor work and both men and women can enroll. Geri-Fit® is challenging, effective and very safe to do. Participants will literally turn back the hands of time each time they do the workout and they will marvel at the results this program provides. All required supplies are provided by the Chattooga Library, participants are not responsible for bringing their own materials.
